4-Point Inspection

A 4-Point inspection is most often required by insurance companies on homes 20 years of age or older in order to receive coverage or renew an existing policy. The basis of this request is as homes get older, the likelihood of potential issues increases significantly, and providers want to ensure the real estate they’re liable for is in relatively “GOOD HEALTH” and considered “SAFE” to occupants and guests alike.

The 4-points being inspected are the four major systems of a dwelling:

• Plumbing System

• HVAC System
